A second home in France is affordable with Leisure Homes Sales France

November 24th, 2009

A recent survey by mortgage company Conti has revealed that France is still the most popular destination for a holiday home abroad, with 31% of those surveyed looking online for a place there.

And it’s little wonder with its fast road, rail and air links with the UK, stunning rural countryside, medieval towns, better weather and gourmet foods and wines.

It’s also possible to snap up great property bargains even in the current economic climate, especially in the leisure homes markets where high spec, UK made mobile homes are available for as little as £20,000.

Buying a mobile home or lodge usually comes with a host of other benefits such as being situated in a holiday park with full use of the pool, bar and leisure facilities and 24 hour security.

For example, at Parc Mayenne in the Upper Loire Valley, 31 acres of beautiful pastureland with the River Mayenne running through it create a stunning rural retreat. The park is accessible all year round and all 150 homes are privately owned on large plots with space for decking, gardens and parking.

There is a heated outdoor pool, sun terrace and the well-stocked fishing lakes offer excellent carp fishing which complements the trout and pike fishing to be enjoyed in the river. The Kingfisher bar offers the chance to meet up with other owners and serves freshly cooked meals on request.

There is also a Laundry room, cleaning and gardening services, a local golf course and pets are welcome.

UK based Leisure Homes Sales France specialises in selling lodges and mobile homes in Parc Mayenne and other beautiful and well appointed holiday parks across France.

They offer a range of high spec, modern and spacious lodges and leisure homes with stunning interiors. For example a 3 bedroom nearly new luxury mobile home with centre lounge is just £22,800, including decking.

This 37 x 12 ft home is in fantastic condition, is fully fitted and furnished and has  a master bedroom with an en-suite. It can sleep up to eight people and the purchaser has the choice of summer-use and all year round parks such as Parc Mayenne on which to site this home.

Bespoke two bedroom lodges are also available at Parc Mayenne for £88,500. These luxury 30 x 20 ft homes comprise two bedrooms, including a master with en-suite, are stylishly fitted and furnished with free standing furniture, boast central heating, double glazing and hyper insulation and enjoy a generous sun terrace and garden with river views.
Some of the benefits of buying a second home in France in this way include a UK warranty, no language difficulties as you are dealing directly with a UK based company that handles all the paperwork, payments are in Sterling, no involvement with the French legal system or estate agents and no local property taxes or solicitors fees.
For photos of the homes available and details of the parks in which they are situated visit www.leisurehomesalesfrance.com.
